Job description :
The Sales Executive, S.E.A. is responsible for developing and growing Eurotainer’s tank leasing business across Southeast Asia. The position focuses on expanding market share through active market development, strengthening relationships with existing customers, and acquiring new customers across targeted industrial sectors.
The role combines business development, account management, and technical sales, working closely with internal teams and regional stakeholders to drive sustainable revenue growth, fleet utilization, and customer satisfaction.
Reports to: Regional Manager S.E.A. (based in SIN).
Location: Singapore.

PC Manager – Eurotainer.
Sales Managers.
Customer Service M&R/Operations.
Finance (Accounting/Controlling) Purchase and Technical Department (P&T). Global Fleet Manager.
External:
Customers (Chemical Industry Leasing).
Key Tasks and Activities :
- Drive new tank leasing business across Southeast Asia through market research, prospecting, and sector analysis.
- Identify new industrial segments and opportunities for leasing new or in-fleet tanks and to increase utilisation.
- Maintain, develop, and grow the existing customer base.
- •Active management of the sales pipeline and expansion of the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their needs/objectives.
- Management of upcoming or expired lease contracts.
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer and prospect needs and requirements.
- Actively monitor & manage payments/statements of account, also regarding M&R Off-hire costs.
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
- Prepare monthly / visit reports of progress and forecasts to Regional Manager.
- Advise on and participate in projects, as defined in the Tank container business unit (e.g. IT developments, process improvements, etc.).
Special Features : Domestic and International Travel will be required.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications Required :
- A recognized tertiary education/qualification in sales and business administration and/or relevant work experience within the industry in a customer-facing role.
- (Tank-) Container leasing and/or Shipping line/ experience in the chemical industry.
- Proven experience as a sales and/or key account manager providing solutions based on customer needs.
Key Skills/Knowledge Required :
- Distinct customer & service orientation with the capability to interact with customers on different levels in a confident manner.
- Good interpersonal skills & understanding cross cultural diversity with an aptitude for building and maintaining strong relationships for external and internal stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable terms and agreements.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks efficiently.
- Capability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions.
- Good IT literacy and competency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word).
- Technical knowledge/understanding of ISO Tank Containers, fleet planning, maintenance and contract structure.
Languages:
- English (Excellent/fluent, written and spoken).
- Mandarin Chinese (Excellent/fluent, written and spoken).
- Additional Asian languages & dialects are a plus.
