We is delighted to welcome Mitch Furness at Eurotainer Australia as new Area Sales Manager, based in Perth. His appointment strengthens Eurotainer’s commercial presence and supports the company’s continued growth across Australia and New Zealand.
His extensive knowledge of the container leasing industry, combined with his customer-focused approach, will be a valuable asset in developing strong commercial relationships across the region.
Over 20 Years of Experience in Container Leasing and Logistics
Mitch brings more than 20 years of international experience in container leasing, industrial services and logistics across Australia, Europe and the United Kingdom.
Before joining Eurotainer Australia, Mitch served as Marketing Director, Tanks at Seaco in London. In this position, he held full responsibility for the company’s European tank portfolio and managed relationships with major tank container operators.
His experience also includes eight years dedicated to building and expanding a tank container customer base in Western Australia. This strong understanding of the local market, combined with his international commercial expertise, gives Mitch a comprehensive perspective on the requirements of customers operating within complex logistics and supply chain environments.
Strong Logistics and Supply Chain Expertise
In addition to his extensive industry experience, Mitch holds an MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
His academic background complements his hands-on experience in tank container leasing and industrial services. It also supports his ability to understand customers’ operational requirements and identify appropriate leasing solutions for their logistics activities.
Mitch’s commercial drive, customer focus and practical working style make him a strong addition to the Eurotainer Australia team.
Supporting Eurotainer’s Growth Across Australia and New Zealand
In his role as Area Sales Manager, Mitch will contribute to Eurotainer’s commercial development across the ANZ region. Working from Perth, he will collaborate with customers and colleagues to support existing business relationships and help develop new commercial opportunities.
His knowledge of the Western Australian market will be particularly valuable as Eurotainer continues to strengthen its presence and customer support capabilities in the region.
The wider Eurotainer team will work closely with Mitch as he settles into his new position and begins this next stage of his career.
