STREEM Group is proud to announce the appointment of Marc WEIDEMANN as Global Head of Maintenance & Repair (M&R) for its Container Business Unit. This strategic hire marks a new milestone in the Group’s development, with the clear ambition to strengthen operational performance, fleet reliability, and excellence across its global maintenance network.
Marc officially joins STREEM Group as of April 1st, 2026, based in the Hamburg office, a major hub for European maritime and logistics activities. He will report directly to Markus KAIFEL appointed Global Operations Director of the STREEM group Container Business Unit.
Marc WEIDEMANN brings more than three decades of experience in shipping, logistics, and container leasing, gained with several major market players. Throughout his career, he has held several strategic positions, primarily focused on technical management and M&R operations.
he held the position Head of Global M&R and Service Network at the HOYER Group, being responsible for the global Maintenance and Repair activities of the Tank Container fleet, as well as the service purchase activities for their depot network.
With his extensive knowledge and experience in engineering and M&R both in container leasing and on the operator’s side we believe that he is the perfect match to bring the M&R activities of the STREEM BU Containers to the next level going forward.
