Eurotainer is the global leader in specialized tank containers. We lease containers for a variety of industries, including Chemicals, Energy, Mining, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverage, and Environmental Services, among others. With the wide spectrum of products moved across the globe and a business model such that we have long-term revenue streams, we’re very stable and don’t experience the market volatility that most companies do. We are looking for a Sales Representative to join the sales team. The initial focus will be on Account Management with an expectation of true Business Development. The company has a well-established customer base but is looking to expand into other chemical sectors as the company continues to grow. This representative should be able to balance and prioritize new business growth with continued support to our top clients. The Sales Representative will interact directly with customers throughout all phases of the sales process. The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying the customer’s needs within a geographical area, pitching relevant products or services, and ensuring they have a positive experience from start to finish. The common day-to-day responsibilities will be: • Leasing products to customers and representing the Eurotainer and Streem brands. This can include but is not limited to: asking questions to pinpoint the best offerings, giving presentations, and maintaining customer relationships. • Reaching out to potential leads through a variety of channels, such as email, phone, text, social media and cold calls. • Negotiating with leads and using persuasion techniques to overcome objections and landing deals that are beneficial to the company, while also providing customers with optimal value. • Submitting and processing orders to ensure customers receive the products or services they request on time. • Participating in company meetings with Management and other members of the sales team. This usually involves providing a recap of recent results and accomplishments.
This role reports directly to the US Sales Manager.

The ideal candidate will have the following abilities, qualities and skills:
• Preferred experience with chemical logistics, preferably with containers
• Sales experience that is a mix of account management and business development, with an emphasis on business development
• Track record of getting in front of decision makers and closing the sale
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, someone who takes ownership & responsibility
• Persistent, rarely takes “no” for an answer
• Organized
• Creativity
• Technical
• Ability to prioritize and act efficiently on incoming data
• Proactive, recognizes upcoming opportunities and acts on them
• Understands the business model of long-term asset leasing and/or the maritime industry • While maritime experience is preferred, any form of transportation along with chemicals / gas / cryogenics would suffice
