Eurotainer SA, established in the early 1970s and headquartered in Paris, manages one of the world's largest fleets of ISO tank containers used to transport liquids, powders and gases. In 2000, Brambles entered into a joint-venture arrangement with the French-based tank container lessor CCR to create the second largest container rental company in the world.
 The combined business delivers benefits of scale and so increased levels of profitability on a substantially lower cost structure, as well as access to a global customer base.
The tank container rental operation is supported by a range of ancillary services, including e-commerce capabilities and Internet-based access to key operational, technical and commercial data.
Since the first of January 2006, an agreement has been finalized with regards to the transfer of the 50% Brambles share of Eurotainer SA to the Ermewa Group. |
