Sales Account Manager

Eurotainer, a leading global tank container leasing company, is recruiting a Sales Account Manager to be based in Houston, Texas.

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Executive to participate in a growing market, develop an assigned region and maintain a growing account base for one of the world’s largest/diverse container leasing companies.


Required activities and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for revenue generation in assigned areas
  • Primary delivery and account management for all existing/active accounts in assigned areas.
  • Working with a team of professionals focused on servicing accounts in the U.S.
  • Prospect new customer accounts and grow account activities.
  • Accountable for work-plan/deliverables, commercial activity and customer satisfaction for all existing and newly developed accounts.
  • Development and implementation of sales plans that support increased sales.
  • Management of sales pipeline including short and long-term opportunities for the assigned areas
  • Monitoring of competitive activities and regular reporting of findings to management with recommended actions.
  • Responsibility for budgeting for commercial growth in assigned region
  • Weekly Sales Meetings
  • National and regional travel with occasional international travel required
  • Other activities as required.

  • Minimum Career Level: 5-10 years experience as a sales, manager, or account executive.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • A minimum of 5 years ofworking in a Leasing/Rental sales position
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook
  • Knowledge of international logistics is preferred
